  PHI SIGMA CHAPTER BASILEUS

Welcome to the virtual home of the Phenomenal Phi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Washington, DC. I am excited to serve as the Chapter Basileus of such a wonderful group of extraordinary and accomplished women. For over 82 years, the Phi Sigma Chapter has been a pillar in the community by providing "Greater Service, Greater Progress" to a number of organizations within D.C. Specifically, the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA, Inc., House of Ruth, Washington Literacy Council, March of Dimes, Fisher House, to name a few.

We are truly experiencing an unprecedented time where we had to adjust to "new rules of engagement." Moving from face-to-face meetings, where we laughed and provided those much-needed hugs to a virtual environment. Now more than ever, we need to truly unlock the benefits of our sisterhood by pulling closer together and playing “the part of a true sister."

Our theme "Back to Basics" will give us the opportunity to focus on developing our new and existing members. Getting back to the things that matter the most...Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service. The Phi Sigma Chapter leadership team is committed to serving the chapter during this time of uncertainty and I stand in complete confidence in their dedication to the membership.

As we head towards our Sorority's centennial, the Phenomenal Phi Sigma Chapter is excited to be a part of this monumental event and will continue to be "On Fire to Serve" this illustrious organization.
