Greetings Sorors and Friends!

Welcome to the official website of the Phenomenal Phi Sigma Chapter serving
Washington D.C. It is my honor to serve as the 32nd Basileus of such a historic and
impactful chapter in our Sorority’s history.

The Phi Sigma Chapter was chartered on August 13th, 1938 by twelve visionary women
who saw the nation’s capital as ripe for the growth of Sigma Gamma Rho. For over 80
years, the Phi Sigma chapter and its members have contributed significantly as leaders
in education and public service. We continue to uphold our values of sisterhood,
scholarship and service through the implementation of our Essential Programs, local
scholarships and DC focused initiatives and partnerships that support underrepresented
communities.

If you are a member of Sigma Gamma Rho or a part of the Washington D.C.
community, we invite you to join any of our upcoming chapter or community service
events to learn more about Phi Sigma and the ways that we work to enhance the quality
of life for women and their families.
